Not dead! We're trying desperately to get Book 6 extras done and Book 7 well underway so we have a proper backlog for when we start (a thing we've never managed before but will stop future huge delays hopefully). Also holidays and life so we're slow! Apologies! But we're not dead and the comic's not dead! Please have patience with our slow!!! We'll update on all the various links once we have a ETA for the actual next book!
THANKS for all your patience and support, everyone!!!
0.0 omg i just realized that could actually happen. Well, actually, it occur to me briefly when I saw the complete timeline, but i just thought, "nah, they would never do that..." BUT OF COURSE THEY WOULD IT WOULD BE GREAT OMG PLZ LET IT HAPPEN.
The "bad kids" are all horribly misunderstood, Quinton most of. None of can ever really be "good guys", but I'll bet Quinton is eventually going to rebel against Dr. Kaluza in a climatic battle, at least.
So when are you going to put up Book Six? Not to sound antagonizing but it has been nearly three months since the end of Book Five and I, and probably many others, are brimming with anticipation. I really would like to see what is next for these super-powered minors and their parents/ guardians. Reading a superhero title from a genuine child's point of view is something that is sadly lacking in many mainstream and independent properties. This truly is a breath of fresh air from titles which portray kid superheroes though usually in diminished capacities. It is great to have a story plot which depicts them as actual people and not cut outs.
Well I guess I'm going to abandon this comic. Too bad, because I really liked where it was going. I think the author's need to take some time away from promoting their work (cons/books/ect.) and take some time actually making content. They'll have nothing to promote at this rate. I feel insulted I spent money on this comic and now it's not going anywhere.
@Law88 (Guest) We haven't abandoned the comic at all. We have all of Ch 6 bonus content done and the next chapter completely thumbnailed and written and are hard at work getting a bunch of pages done so that when we start up we can do so without interruption.
I understand we've taken a while between these 2 chapters but it was out of life necessity and we've been very clear that we needed time and will let everyone know as soon as we know our next start date. We both work demanding, art related jobs, jobs we need to work to make the money to have the ability to print this very comic because it is out of pocket expense to both of us. This is a labor of love for us, that cost us a great deal of money. But we need that money to live as well so we have to do what we have to do to pay our bills and keep a roof over our heads and perform well at our jobs, but be assured we are, in this silence, working hard on the comic.
I hope you can see it in yourself to understand the real world circumstances artists like us have to deal with, and understand why at times we have to be very slow. The promotion of cons and books and commissions-the sales we get from those-almost entirely funds printing this book (and in some cases simply affording rent).
This comic is very important to both of us and we have no plans to abandon it. We appreciate every single fan that is patiently sticking with us and we promise we'll have some concrete info soon about what's happening with the next chapter but rest assured, we are working on the comic right now.
@Steve Is God King Emperor Nothing's gone wrong! We're slower then I'd like for sure! But no great disasters, just life. Holidays slowed us down more then expected, as well as a need to get enough funds to actually print Ch6. But we're chugging along on Ch 7 and have all the bonus content for Ch6 all done finally! Sorry we're concerning you all, we're just slow and art is hard!
Take Ur Time
Hey, guys, take the time you need for real life things. Money is important and I wouldn't want you to stop the comic altogether just to get back on your feet IRL. That would probably take much longer than scheduled conventions and printing books.
Look at the impatient people this way: they love this comic so much, they can't stand waiting anymore for a new chappie!
