Chapter 3 was sent off to the printers already and it will premiere at San Diego Comic Con International in July! We will be in the Small Press Area at table O 11! We'll have it for sale on the site a little bit after the convention (we'll have to replenish our stock after the con)! So if you can't wait until August to buy chapter 3 and you have a friend going to SDCC, ask them to get it for you!

AHA! Nilus and Simon are saying the same thing! This actually tells a lot about the development of the atlantean culture, judging by how they use modern curse words from our culture in their language, instead of using their own, but maybe she was scripted to use those words and not others to increase situational gravity? Foreign curses would only confuse the reader and not add drama, after all.
And that mini-explosion seems detrimental to poor Sergio's health! It's quite frightening to see Sergio in such a state as this! And it's quite interesting to see the object's aura take on the form of a heart (Just warning you now; It looks suspiciously similar to the Kingdom Hearts II logo's heart!)!
Does Sergio not age anymore after this? Cause if he doesn't, my dreams are crushed, cause he'll stay young forever and Simon will continue to age and it'll be sad.

Is Sergio the reincarnated form of the son? That would explain why he remembers how to read such an ancient language all sudden like. Or it could be a family trait. Anyway, if it is the first, than maybe that stone actually holds the memories/powers of the first son and in later incarnations it goes into his body when he reads the inscription. Or maybe even (again) its just a family trait that all the boys look like the first son, and all of them get the first sons abilities. I look forward to seeing if my prediction is true or not. XD

Also I agree with MomotheGreat... I don't really like the pairing. Besides, Sergio is so much cuter, and has male genitalia. Makes him a way better match for Simon.
... It may seem kind of weird on the surface but you just have to look at some of the more "interesting" couplings in literature, TV and comics.
It is most likely a meme of some sort - the odd-couple syndrome if you will.
Two people who get on each others nerves who work together and fight all the time. After a time, without realizing it they get to tolerate/appreciate/know each other better than any one else in their lives.
The tripping point is when and how the revelation is made - everything from - dang it I love you you dumbass (action dependent on character type) To a third party forcing them into a situation where they forced to realize and admit the relationship (read the script as written but with feeling .... I love you .... I love you too).
I just want to say how much I love this comic. It's adorable, beautifully drawn, and downright hilarious with good characterization. So hopefully you will get how...distraught I was when I went to camp for three weeks, figuring there'd be at least three or four new pages when I got back. And then I get back and eagerly check the site and there's nothing at all. Nothing on STOP either. ...This may have come out sounding harsher than I intended... Either way, I really really hope you'll update soon. I wanna see Sergio's powers and Simon and Nilus panicking and how their respective guardians react and generally what happens next! So please? Pretty please?

I think he will have powers after the possessing whatever is "evicted" though. Certainly hope so anyway. Now I haven't gone past today yet but given the last several comments my fingers are crossed that updates have resumed. Or as the had it in an old Charlie Chan film, "Cross your fingers and your eyes."
