Excuse the slight lateness this week. We always aim for Wednesday (though we miss a lot! Doh!) But Missveryvery is still in the middle of unpacking and I'm a bit sick.
We managed to get it done, though! And we also sold 4 of the comic pages we were auctioning! Thanks so much to anyone who bid or even anyone who took a look or showed a friend! We super appreciate the support and selling those pages super helped with the comic print run we had to order! You guys are seriously all the best and we super appreciate all the love and support we get from you!
Oh, also! Someone asked on a previous page if this is a malexmale comic. This is a comic about kids growing up and making friends and dealing with family. Kids are diverse. Friends are diverse. Families are diverse. People are diverse. The world is diverse. We want to fairly represent all kinds of people because kids can and eventually will be all kinds of people.
EDIT: Got a bit of a leaking through my condo walls problem to deal with so I think we won't have an update this week. So sorry guys! Check back next Wednesday the 30th! We'll aim for that day! Sorry again!
Wow...that is a really awesome way of explaining it...
Anywho, Lord Aedh, you scary, but cute with that little pout of yours :3 ! I'm worried for Cornelius(?) though... I hope L. Aedh won't vent out his anger on him. :(
Fuck yeah the comment to this page. I love you guys.
Neil's "!!?" face in panel 3 is great. Also, Aedh's Very Serious face in the last panel is awfully cute. I like that someone as elegant as Aedh is with someone who's uh...a little bit of a dopey bro. Aedh must have a good sense of humor.
Lol, I love the look on Lord Aedh's face in those first two panels, it's so "it's good you are attractive because you are also stupid, darling." And really, how embarrassed will that dude be when it is explained that he insulted the actual King of Atlantis. well probably won't be, but it would be a funny moment to see anyway lol.
I love watching this progress. (But i can't wait to see Serge in a hero outfit! lol)

Oh dear... I feel very emotional all of a sudden. That was just worded so beautifully.
Awe I really adore Sergio and Julius. How he holds Sergio so cute <3, it's in a protective manner. So sweet indeed. I also love the one villian I forget his name but the one who turned all the people to dust. Quinton, yes that's his name I like him alot too cannot wait to learn more about him. More about Sergio & his uncle Julius. Also more about that Hellhound. But I love this comic very much the art is very awesome so is the storyline. :3
I love this comic and follow it faithfully! I also appreciate the author/artist response re: the malexmale question.
About the last two pages, I adore how protective Julius is of Sergio, carrying him like that (so are Nilus and Everywhere Kid, awww).
I suspect that the relationship between Julius and Aedh is more complicated than just "servant and his lord". Remember the picture of Aedh that Sergio stuffed into his closet with all the other stuff? Also, the glowy heart eyes connection. Dun dun DUN!
One thing confuses me though - how is Everywhere Kid able to poof them out of there if they all had to teleport far from the castle and walk there because "we can't teleport directly there"?
Kudos on the great art, characters and storyline, as always! :D
As for the teleportation thing, when we started this we set up a bunch of rules about how the magic stuff works. For Aedh's castle we decided Aedh has the place warded against any outside presence coming in without his permission (so suddenly teleporting in wouldn't work), but teleporting close then walking in is fine assuming he lets you enter.
As for leaving, he has no such restrictions. The ward is to protect the castle from random people coming in, but once in you can leave as you please.
We hope that makes sense! We thought it did at the time we decided it about 2 years ago! <3
About the MalexMale comment on the last page.
Hey, I just wanted to reiterate that I really wasn't trying to be offensive. I have nothing against homosexuals (many of my friends have chosen that lifestyle) I just wasn't sure if these series was trying to set up a lot of male/male relationships.
On any other site I wouldn't have to ask but as I'm sure you've noticed by now, half of the comics on this site seem to announce in their banners that they're boylove stuff and they then proceed to have every male in the comic find another male to fall in love with (which is much less diverse than the philosophy your statement suggests you'll be taking).
I've always wondered a bit cause Sergio struck me as rather effeminate, lol. In fact there was a time that, if not for his bio clearly stating he likes cute girls, I would have assumed he really DID want to marry Everywhere Kid. And that by itself is no big deal, but then there's their mentors who are obviously close, and these two guys here who are close, and like I said about so many other comics on this site...
I have no problem with diversity. I think that's cool and I admire that you're making the effort to include everyone in a society that isn't always so accepting. I was mostly just curious if this was going to be ALL male/male stuff.
Like over-the-top "Julius, I'm Mpreg and it's yours" level male/male. I apologize if I offended anyone. Keep up the good work!
That's a really good way of putting it. I don't mind any gay, or lack of, in the comic. Your comic is entretaining, which is why I keep reading it in the first place (although I'm kinda hopping for some gay between Sergio and Simon later on, but I won't be upset if they just stay as friends XD, I like their dynamic either way XDD)
